Fuckings maps. Fuck 'em.

I woke up, feeling shitty (Yknow, 'cuz I have to feel shitty all the time.), and decided to draw a map. For the world I'm currently writing about. Nothing too hard (that's what I thought), just a simple map for the Capital City. So I can better visualize the whole city, and stuff.

I failed. Spent hours trying to draw it, before I realised the layout cannot possibly work in an actual city, least of all the Capital. WHY. So I trashed the stupid idea and decided that simply writing will be faster.

My progress: 747 words. It's been 747 words for... let's just say awhile.

I spent my days staring at the screen - writing a sentence, deleting it, writing another, then deleting it again.

747 words.

I know what the second scene is going to be about: Cyrus gets back to the Legion; I show how he spends his daily life; introduce Gavin; explain about the Lost Children, I show how the absence of Selena is leaving big gaps in his life.

Yeahhh. I can't even write the first bloody sentence. I just play around with my music, stare at the screen, check Facebook, msn, text people. I'm such a slacker. D:

Oh, and I got braces. It's been awhile since I got it, but I didn't get around to mentioning it. Yeah, I have braces. They're pink.

AND AND AND. Making the Vocaloids say stupid stuff is fun. Very, very fun. Everyone should try it some time.

This post is just yet another distraction from writing, so now that I'm done, I'm going to head back to writing (staring at the screen). I'm estimating about 10k words at final completion. (Let's just give it 8k for the first draft.) I have 7k more words to go for my first draft. Dateline for submission is on 31st of Dec. First draft has crappy grammar, inconsistent POV, inconsistent writing style, and jumpy flow. Wish me luck. ._.
